A
recent initiative of ours, Vendor Management
Services or VMS, is a handy model for staff
acquisition at a low resource-spend. Organizations
spend a lot of their time and resources on recruitment
activities like sourcing CVs, short-listing candidates,
interviewing, carrying out reference checks and so
on.
As the VMS provider or Master Vendor, we manage the
process of recruitment by deploying our own resources
at a fee charged for managing the whole project. The
VMS model provides clients a lot of flexibility as
services of multiple vendors can be obtained and managed
by the Master Vendor. In addition, the Master Vendor
can also be one of the service providers along with
the others.
An advantage
of VMS is that as specialist recruiters, we carry
out the recruitments, get the best deal in terms of
service fees and candidates, and enjoy the flexibility
to separate the project once the recruitment drive
is complete.
Currently we
have a VMS sign-up with Advantage Global Services,
a Morgan Stanley company. Our core employees operate
from the facility of Advantage Global Services and
manage their recruitment service providers. Advantage
Global Services works with 4 recruitment service providers,
including Ma Foi. So Ma Foi is both Master Vendor
and Sub-vendor. |
